Policies on Developing Small and Medium Enterprises in Vietnam

چکیده

In recent years, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have contributed considerably Vietnam's economy. In 2005, there were 109,738 SMEs, which account for 96.81 percent of all enterprises in Vietnam. SMEs employed 2528623 employees, representing 40.5 percent of the total number people employed by enterprises in Vietnam. In the same year, SMEs contributed 54476 billion VND, comprising 34.33 percent of tax and fees paid by enterprises in Vietnam1.
